The Common Ground Alliance (CGA) is a member-driven association dedicated to ensuring public safety, environmental protection, and the integrity of services by promoting effective damage prevention practices. In recent years, the association has established itself as the leading organization in an effort to reduce damages to all underground facilities in North America through shared responsibility among all stakeholders.

One Call Center Update
During the April 2011 Meeting, Jim Holzer of One Call Concepts, Inc provided a brief update of
One Call activity for 2010. Incoming Ticket volume for 2010 was
451,696 and outgoing ticket volume for 2010 was 3,065,212. Jim stated
that volumes were encouraging given the economic environment.
The One Call Center is currently involved in three major
software initiatives, including Positive Response, Revised
Outbound Tickets, and the Rutgers-CAIT Virtual White Lining

New Jersey Utilities Association
The New Jersey Utilities Coordinating Council (NJUCC)
is a stakeholder working group hosted by the New Jersey
Utilities Association (NJUA). The NJUCC is designed to create a
forum for increased communication among interested parties
regarding utility infrastructure in New Jersey. Toward that end,
the NJUCC developed a directory of NJUA’s member company
